This course, located in the Axarquia area to the east of Malaga, in the municipality of Velez-Malaga, opened a second nine last year. Baviera Golf, designed by Jose Maria Cañizares, is a flat course, fairly easy except for the greens which are large, on average, 700 square metres with slopes and swales. The fairways are very forgiving 80 to 90 metres wide and without climbs or drops. These are four lakes on the first nine, affecting the 3rd , 4th , and 5th holes. The signature hole is the 4th , a par 5 of 500 metres where two lakes come into play, one with an expanse of water covering 15,000 square metres and the other protecting entry to the green.
